Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences Tour

Glow Worm Cruises

Newport Bermuda Race

The Biennial Newport Bermuda Race will start June 20 off Castle Hill Lighthouse near the mouth of Narragansett Bay in Newport, Rhode Island and finishes off St. David's Lighthouse, St. David's Head on the North Eastern tip of Bermuda. The Newport Bermuda Race is an ocean racing classic first run in 1906 and always stands as one of the world's premier blue water sailing contests. The 635 mile course crosses the Gulf Stream, that unpredictable, meandering river in the Atlantic that separates temperate waters from tropical waters, continental weather from Mid-Atlantic weather and the men from the boys on their "thrash to the Onion Patch".
