Bermuda National Trust Gold Tour

The Gold Tour begins with Waterville, an exceptional early 18th century Bermuda house on the outskirts of Hamilton which now serves as the Bermuda National Trust headquarters. View the antiques on display and explore the surrounding grounds planted with a variety of local and exotic flora, including a formal rose garden. A short drive away is Paget Marsh, a miraculously unaltered wetland. Step back to precolonial times as you enter this quiet oasis, a haven for wildflowers and bird life. Lead by Tim Rogers, a local historian, antiques specialist and expert guide, this is the perfect tour for both history and nature lovers!

Botanical Gardens Tour

Botanical Gardens, Paget
Sub-tropical fruit groves, cedar and banyan trees, formal gardens, sensory garden for the blind, cacti, succulents and display houses with exotic plants are a few of the 15 permanent collections in the lush 36 acres. Walking tours are held, weather permitting, Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays (except official holidays). Meet at the Botanical Gardens Visitor's Centre. After the tour, on Tuesdays and Fridays only, stop in at Camden (the official residence of the Premier of Bermuda), noon - 2pm (unless official functions are scheduled).

31st Annual Fairmont to Fairmont Race

This popular annual event is a favourite amongst locals and visitors alike. The 7.2 mile course takes participants through many of the Island's most scenic areas. Prizes will be awarded to winners.

Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences Tour

Guides begin the tour with a summary of BIOS's history in Bermuda and an overview of ongoing research and education projects at BIOS. International Marathon & Half Marathon Sunday, January 20, 2008 (8:00am START) This event features a two-loop course with its start and finish on Front Street, Hamilton, Bermuda's capital, is a truly beautiful course. Runners will follow a 13 mile scenic loop that provides a full appreciation of the Island's beauty as it follows shoreline and narrow winding coral and flower-lined roads.
